The Journalism Curriculum

Critical thinking skills are a part of the Journalism curriculum. This course should develop your critical thinking about the influence of media on individuals and the role of media in society, as well as your ability to critically evaluate theories and interpret research.

Additionally, the Journalism curriculum has 11 goals for students to achieve throughout their academic career. These are adopted from the ACEJMC, and this course includes seven of them.
